1. Personal InformationPersonal information will not be disclosed about others. This is the Internet. Don't post information about others if you don't want others to post information about you.
2. TrollingEvery message board has its trolls. For those of you that are not familiar with the term, trolling is whenever someone is clearly and deliberately posting in a manner for the purpose of angering and/or insulting the other participants of the board. Trolls are those that post insightful and often provocative posts for no other purpose than to insight a flame war.
However, trolling is often times misidentified by those that simply have a differing opinion. Hard questions are not necessarily trolling. The difference between a personal attack and a hard hitting question can be very thin sometimes, but most people can still discertain the difference.
Trolling is not allowed.3. Harassment Anyone that is caught using this message board facility for the sole purpose of stalking, harassing or, for any other violent illegal activity, will have their user account terminated, and see the full cooperation of the site with law enforcement to prosecute those crimes to the full extent of the law.
4. Harmful PostsDo not post messages that may cause damage to a person's professional or personal life. This includes posting people's personal information (i.e., real names, occupations, employers, etc.) and posting slanderous information. At all times, safety and privacy are promoted.
5. Personal AttacksThis means blatantly attacking another poster in a personal way. It is perfectly acceptable to criticize a person's idea. An attack is not acceptable when it focuses on the person and not on his or her opinion.

Offensive PostsPosting of racist or otherwise discriminating remarks, threats to cause physical or mental harm, extreme offensive language, material that breaks any law or otherwise unacceptable posts or links to pages that contain the aforementioned material is not allowed.
This includes posting links to sites that promote hate.7. AdvertisingAdvertising for other sites with out permission will not be allowed in any of the forums and will be deleted immediately. However, you may list your business or website in your signature within your personal profile.

9. Moderation/Admin Issues and DecisionsIt's a simple rule: Deletions, locking and other administrative actions will NOT be discussed publicly. Posts attempting to second guess the moderators or administrators will be deleted on sight. If you have a question regarding such an action, you should contact the moderators or admin privately. If an answer is appropriate, it will be given. This also applies to the admins on the NetStorm server. Actions made by the netstorm server admins, should not and will not be discussed here. Netstorm: HQ is not responsible for any admin actions done on NetStorm game servers.
