Please don't complain on NSHQ that NS is dead, it's been like this for years since 2002; there are peak times when we have a dozen of players online but also dead times when nobody is on for a few hours.

Currently it's not even NS season, people are on holidays, preparing for upcoming semester or busy working. Not to mention another good strategy game was released recently and more players are getting addicted to mmos or other games. I mean for a 13 year old game we're still lucky to have ANY players, server and sites for that matter. So please, quit posting how NS is dead, your complain will stay (unless I or someone else decides to delete it), however the zones may get crowded again on a peek time. Yet new or old players who want to download NS will read your comment and won't even bother to join the game assuming there is no one on. So instead, try to encourage players to join if you don't want to join another empty zone next time you're on.

I have made a forum thread where you can post your available times or when was a good time to join multiplayer or ask when it's a good time to join multiplayer. Please use it instead of shitposting.

On another note. Our good old friend tas has a feeling that all vets have left him. So please, be so kind, say that you love him and give him a big HUG!

Small update today from the Rising Storm project: Our coder is back from vacation and is back to work busy implementing new stuff, Even though he just got back last night he took the time to implement our new Skybox texture I did up for the world map.. The new skybox is based off the original background sky and gives it a more classic feel for Rising Storm.
