In 1998, three NetStorm players (Fumanchu, Cambone and Kweejibo) came up with a new concept for a guild, one where no one person controlled the direction the guild took and where everyone had equal say. Sword was the first true democratic guild on NetStorm and as such attracted many of the best players the game had to offer. It quickly became one of NetStorm’s elite guilds, earning a reputation for members with both excellent skills and friendly behaviour. A status it still enjoys today.

One of Sword’s legendary rules is: Once a Sword, Always a Sword. This is a motto that rings just as true today as it did when the guild was created. Once a player joins Sword they have the right to wear the tag for eternity, a right which can only be taken away with the consent of all the other members, and is a decision not taken lightly. It is this that allows the guild to maintain a delicate mix of the current best players alongside some of the greatest names in NetStorm’s long history.

Sword is one of the hardest guilds to become a member of, but the guild has always believed that all players can have the opportunity to tryout for Sword, as long as recruitment is open. If you believe you have what it takes to join, or simply wish to learn more about us, take a look at our website http://sword.netstormhq.com. The Goal Of Sword:
Sword is the oldest active guild on NetStorm yet remains one of the most powerful, earning it a unique status and respect within the NS community. We want to keep this guild friendly and strong whilst we also want to help the NS community and as such we always try to keep at least one member active in the skies, despite the tough standards we require for entry.
